Combo Deals
What are Combo Deals?
Combo deals are bundle promotions where a customer buys items from multiple different categories together at a special price. For example: "Buy any energy drink + any snack for $4.99."
Each combo deal references one or more Promotion Groups — the customer must buy at least one item from each group to trigger the deal.
Where to Find Combo Deals
Navigate to Promotions → Combo Deals Maintenance tab.
Key Fields
- Combo Name — Descriptive name for the combo
- Promotion Groups — Which item groups are included (customer must buy from each)
- Combo Price / Discount — The special bundle price or discount amount
- Start Date / End Date — When the combo is active
- Store Location — Which stores this combo applies to
How Combo Deals Work at the POS
- The cashier scans items as normal
- When items from each required promotion group are scanned, the POS automatically detects the qualifying combination
- The combo price is applied to the transaction
- The discount appears on the receipt
No special codes, coupons, or manual overrides are needed at the register.

What's the difference between a Combo Deal and a Mix Match deal?
A Combo Deal requires items from different categories (e.g., a drink AND a snack). A Mix Match deal requires multiple items from the same category (e.g., 2 of the same energy drink).
