Activation Report

Activation Report

A historical, read-only listing of every pack that was activated (placed into a bin for sale) at a store over a date range. This is the report you pull when you need to verify activity for a lottery commission audit, troubleshoot a discrepancy with your lottery commission's portal, or simply look back at how many books you put out this month.

Open the screen: Lottery → Activation Report in the left navigation.

When to use this screen

  • Lottery commission audit: "Show us every pack you activated in July." Pull the date range, export, hand over the file.
  • Reconciling your lottery commission's portal: the lottery commission's "Activated Packs by Date" report should match CStoreiQ's row count for the same date range — if not, investigate.
  • Performance review: "Which game was activated the most last quarter?"
  • Catching a missed activation: "Did I forget to activate that pack from yesterday's shipment?"

Results grid columns

Column Meaning
Activated Date Timestamp when the pack was moved from Confirmed/Inactive to Active
Game # lottery game ID
Game Name Friendly name
Pack # Pack identifier (length depends on your state)
Bin Bin slot the pack was activated into
Ticket $ Price per ticket from the game definition
Pack Value Tickets × Ticket $ — face value of the pack
Sold $ Dollar value sold from this pack as of the report date
Status Current status of the pack: Active (still in a bin), Settled (you've marked it settled in Weekly Settlement), or Returned
Activated By CStoreiQ user who performed the activation

The Status column reflects current status, not the status at activation time. A pack you activated last month and inactivated yesterday will show Active = NO; its row still appears in the report because it was activated in your date range, but the badge tells you the pack isn't on the counter today.

How this matches the lottery commission's printed report

Real lottery retailers receive an Activated Packs by Date report from the lottery terminal. Here is what one looks like:

Lottery commission Activated Packs by Date report

Below is the text content so you can map fields:

  ACTIVATED PACKS BY DATE
  AS OF TUE DEC16 25 13:17:40
  RETAILER XXXXXX

GAME-PACK ACTIVATION DATE AUTO SETTLE DATE TOTAL LESS COMM
  964-142302 12/16/25 12:51:01 01/06/26 $ 280.50
  1501-153789 12/16/25 12:07:55 01/04/26 $ 280.50
  1346-159596 12/15/25 09:48:46 01/04/26 $ 280.50
  ...
TOTAL VALUE OF ACTIVATED PACKS $29,172.00
TOTAL NUMBER OF ACTIVATED PACKS 96

The GAME-PACK column on the lottery commission's report concatenates the game and pack numbers — the same identifiers CStoreiQ shows in two separate Game # and Pack # columns. Match the two reports row by row:

Terminal report field CStoreiQ column
GAME-PACK Game # + Pack #
ACTIVATION DATE Activated Date
AUTO SETTLE DATE (Lottery commission's deadline for settling the pack — not shown in CStoreiQ; settle the pack manually in Weekly Settlement before this date.)
TOTAL LESS COMM Pack Value minus commission

If the lottery commission's portal lists 96 activated packs and CStoreiQ's Activation Report lists 95 for the same date range, find the missing row. Most commonly the missing activation never happened in CStoreiQ because someone took the physical pack out of the safe and put it in a bin without using Activate Pack — fix by activating it now (back-date the activation date if your role allows it).

What this report does NOT show

  • Confirmations — packs received but never activated. See the Confirmation Summary on Confirm Pack.
  • Moves — packs that just changed bin slots. See Moved History on Move Pack.
  • Inactivations / Returns — they have their own places (Inactivate screen and Return screen).

The Activation Report is single-purpose: it answers "what was activated, when, and by whom."

Empty state

If you see "No Activation Records — No activation records found for the selected criteria", one of:

  • The date range is too narrow — try Last Year
  • The selected store hasn't had any activations
  • The selected game has never been activated at this store
